The Flight
Once the balloon is ready and the passengers are on board, the pilot will run the burner to achieve enough lift for take-off.

The balloon gently rises into the air and is carried along by the wind. Passengers often remark on how stable the basket feels – as if you haven’t left the ground.

A balloon flight is always unique as it depends on the direction and speed of the wind. Our pilots try to give a range of flying experiences by varying the height at which the balloon flies. You may be treated to a spectacular view from just below the clouds or a low flying dash across treetops or water.
